Hello! I’m Joni Lester, a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Virginia with 16 years of experience in the mental health field. I obtained my bachelor’s degree in human services from Old Dominion University and a Master of Education from Lindsey Wilson School of Professional Counseling.

I began my career in the mental health field in 2007. Throughout my journey, I've gained valuable experience in various settings, including schools, crisis services, home-based services, and program development and oversight. I am passionate about supporting individuals and families in their growth and healing.

I am currently Level 2 trained in Natural Lifemanship and I am working toward certification in Equine Assisted Services. My passion lies in combining traditional therapeutic approaches with innovative methods, particularly through the powerful bond between humans and animals.

On a personal note, I am a wife and a proud mother of two. My family and I cherish our time outdoors, whether we’re caring for our farm animals, camping, or participating in sports. We value the moments we spend with family and friends, creating lasting memories together. Our faith is an important part of our lives, guiding us in our daily activities and strengthening our bonds.

Hello! I’m Jeff Lester, a licensed teacher in the state of Virginia with 18 years of teaching experience. I hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Virginia College at Wise. Over the years, I have had the privilege of teaching history at both the middle and high school levels, as well as working with special education students.

In addition to my teaching career, I have been a coach for 26 years, which has deepened my passion for watching youth develop both on the court and as individuals. I am also a certified Horse Powered Reading facilitator, combining my love for education with innovative approaches to learning.

As a devoted husband and father of two, my family is at the heart of everything I do. My faith is an essential part of my life, guiding my values and actions.

I have a deep passion for coaching and sports, and I enjoy sharing those experiences with my children. In my free time, you can often find me outdoors—whether it’s farming, fishing, hunting, or camping. These activities not only bring joy to my life but also allow me to connect with nature and create lasting memories with my family.
